Dog Walk, Hike & Social + Garden Build at Volcán de Pacaya

About this event

Join Mayan Dog Rescue Foundation for a dog walk, hike and social at Volcán de Pacaya on Sunday, October 11 at 11:00 AM. Along the way they'll also build a community garden, planting beans, cilantro, spinach and lettuce in tires with seeds and soil they bring up, as part of the same garden program they run with the municipality of San Juan Alotenango at Senderos Ecological Park. It's part of their Food, Love & Shelter work with street dogs and local communities. Reactive dogs, rescue dogs and all levels are welcome. No meeting point is listed in the post, so message @mayandogrescuefoundation for details before heading up. The event is donation-based, with a suggested donation of Q350 that supports rescue, rehabilitation and street dogs. Donate at https://www.mayandogrescuefoundation.org/donate
